Shit, apparently you don't even know how to calculate 20% or even know what new construction versus resale means. I'm surprised you even managed to get a part time realtor license!
Anonymous120678, and that's exactly why you are a part time realtor. because you suck at what you are doing, both at the Q and in the RE business. Shit, you aren't even a broker. A dipshit hairdresser can be a "part time realtor".
What 20% increase in inventory????You mean the homes in DelMar Mesa now selling because they are new construction???? Come on....How many Q enginerds on an enginerds salary are even in the market to buy in Del Mar Mesa????? Definitely not you.
It's not just about 4000k jobs but it's also about damaged psyche
people about to buy thinking they have a permanent job in qcom would reconsider
See the impact in carmel valley 20% up in inventory in last two weeks
I agree housing market with 4000 lay offs will be impacted significantly. Not many jobs here have to move to Bay area. Timing is also not good. By the time when you ready your house for sale it will be Seotember and schools will be started, no buyers
All : please forget the multile busts in last 30 years and chant with me:: housing in socal never goes down!!!
Carmel Valley real estate has already been impacted since December when the initial layoff occurred.
The big driver to the stagnation is that there are no more Qualcomm relocations...which has boosted the prices in the area. Along with Care Fusion which exited too.
I am a part time realtor expecting lay off from qualcomm today, but it is the fact.
Hahahaha ha. Not according to all the data for all the san Diego real estate blogs and from my.group of realtors.
Sorry you still have to rent because things are still unaffordable....for you.
Housing prices already at the top, so time sell. Buyers should wait, once interest rate go up price will come down for sure. Inventory is increasing but not significantly
My realtor also told me the same story, but it may go down 10% after November
