The severance packages vary by individual. Don't assume anything. Wait until it's handed to you. Mine was far less than some have advised.
Any of this going on in EMRE?
I dont care about tracking and who's monitoring what. I can confirm numbers that the original poster listed.
Wow, It's better than Chevron's.
When I was laid off in 2000, management said there were no severance packages and they offered me the job assistance Challenger Gray firm which was a waste of time. After I talked with my boss about the union guys who got severance and that an Exxon Manager promised all of us severance pay, they decided to keep me on the payroll 6 weeks with benefits.
I agree with 171401. The reason I am not posting details is because of the confidentiality agreement I was forced to sign in order to receive severance. I may be being extra careful but I NEED my severance and can't afford to lose it. I will try to help others without endangering my families well being. So I will confirm my package was different also. I am/was an employee not a contractor. I am NOT an HR troll either!! These sites are monitored. That's why more people aren't speaking out. We may have something different to say AFTER we have severance in hand though.......
171401 you are ridiculous, this Site is not the Borg and I think you must be an HR troll as evidenced by your attempts to stoke fear in the downtrodden exmo minions who are simply trying to help one another out - minions unite!
I'm pretty sure that the packages are confidential and discussing details is cause for forfeiture of severance. With that being said I cannot confirm or deny the OP question. But I will say that they are NOT all the same and I didn't get 4 months. Hope this helps.
There were no meetings today in exploration
Employee meetings going on right now (noon hour, CST). Public announcement to come.
I got 4 months!
4 months, that's it!
