Members of several departments at Baxter's Corporate Headquarters in Deerfield, IL received notice this week regarding "voluntary" lay-off. Employees were informed they have until Monday, 14 September to submit an application for lay-off, with decisions - including possible lay-offs among non-volunteers - expected in early October 2015. It's not clear yet exactly how many jobs Baxter plans to eliminate among its Northern Illinois employee population.

Baxter Bloomington, IN had layoffs back in 3/15. Baxter is the worst company I have worked for. An advise to many people, if you can and have the opportunity to join another company, please do not join Baxter, it is the worst. Very bad culture! For example, they monitor people taking breaks in the break room, they do not care for your suggestions etc. I can say in my 15 years in Pharma, Baxter is the worst company I have worked for.
Not quite sure what one would expect: company splits into two individually operating companies, and no lay-offs are expected? Of course there will be lay-offs, regardless what company that is. In my much smaller company I have to lay-off some of the people if there are structural changes. We can all imagine what larger scale companies are dealing with when such structure change takes place.
Has there been more layoffs?
There were somewhere between 600 and 800 layoffs in Round Lake and Deerfield Tuesday 10/6 and Wednesday 10/7. There were more worldwide, but it's unknown how many.
Will there be layoffs in Colorado? At the old Baxa ?
Heard there were layoffs in Round Lake yesterday 10/6/15. Is there any confirmation on numbers??
Guys it is going down hill from here. If you can't find job elsewhere leave now. Baxter is trying to raise eps
It is the worst company that I have worked for.
This is a common practice, VSA (voluntary separation agreement) is typically the first step in downloadbesttorrentblog.ru process, you can rest assured here - there will be many more layoffs to come, VSA leads the way, once you see that happening you can bet on the next round happening (that's where Baxter HR makes the move and cuts people)
