Intel GPTW --> failed (now a "joke")
Intel Tablets --> failed
Intel Mobile --> failed
Intel Yearly Layoffs --> survived
Intel Focal --> survived (continued relative grading)
What was that chip they designed that melted when they got it off the production line?
Everything that is not laptop desktop or server.
Everything else is doomed to fail by Intel-Inside lifers that have no idea what competition in the real non-monopoly business world looks like.
Intel Health Guide
Mica bracelet idea came from BK's wife.
Don't kid yourself NOT flash guy.
Your mortgage was paid for by x86 and NOR flash losses were absorbed.
PC ecosystem where INTC and MSFT take all the profit. This leads to years of stagnation as OEMs and other participants have no money or room to innovate.
PC does Whaaaaaaaat?!?!!!! marketing campaign.
Just truly inept marketing and ad spend.
I don't know if all of these have failed yet but they seem doomed to failure:
Intel Rapid Storage Technology
Intel Experience center (best Buy)
Intel modular blade servers
Intel pocket avatars (wtf?)
DEC semiconductor anyone know why we bought them, because their CEO read somewhere that our CEO said "we" ( I don't work there anymore ) don't invent anything. They asked their lawyers to look into it and found some stuff we copied a little to blatantly and got us to buy their semiconductor business and some other stuff. Look what happened with that one.. though we did get something that saved our bacon a few technology nodes ago. Sad how ARM and XScale couldn't be developed.
XScale is an example of how anything that isn't x86 fails and even these days x86 fails too, LOL
Will.i.am is much better than Genvieve Bell which isn't saying much.
At least he brought in some brand awareness.
GB is just the definition of dead weight.
Biggest fail is lack of innovation in the cash cow - PCs.
Volume and revenue have fallen off a cliff since 2012.
Ashraf Eassa, the college kid Intel seems to have hired for PR. The guys writes more about Intel than anyone else.
How many times do I have to say this! These were not failures! THEY WERE GREAT LEARNINGS !!!
Some people never learn.. no wonder they don't become leaders.

i respectfully disagree: Intel NOR flash was NOT a failure...
It paid my mortgage for 10 years...
Tip your wait staff...
Itanium, Wimax, the entire digital home, Strongarm/XScale, IXP, McAfee, Internet Data Centers, DSP Communications, Raza, Shiva, Dialogic, Larrabee, Bluetooth, Infiniband, . . .
The latest addition to this list of honors is Altera. In 5 years, Altera will become cosmic dust, unknown and unheard.
Compustick... what a f'king joke!
Intel TV -- RIP
Basis watch, charging bowl, mica, spiders, jimmy the robot, intel inside ford
man you hit a button. xscale.. aka StrongArm. acquired when they bought us, the Alpha team from Digital. The fastest ARM processor you could buy. Making buckets of money for Digital. And we watched it disappear. Why? because it was not IAS. no other reason. they wanted everything running the same instruction set. sigh.
Negative ROI on $300M diversity fund.
Top performers avoid applying for Intel jobs.
Aicha Evans and diversity special treatment
Intel's balance sheet.
The losses are hidden now under an unprecedented leveraging of the balance sheet over the last several years.
Notice how debt has gone from 0 to $25B
At some point I'm going to have to come in, take over the board and Fire BK.
A little birds said RF designers all like external process better but if Intel process is so good why is that. The only reason we design in Intel process is we were told by our bosses we must. That is going to be a specatular fail coming soon.
The problem is that it's 0%
These 'ventures' are reducing shareholder value amidst a declining cash cow that can no longer hide these egregious losses.
The x86 gravy train is running out of steam - even in servers where margins will collapse with the entry of the ARM hordes at 7nm
Intel only needs 1% of our ideas/acquisitions to be winners. We can always make up for the failures with more cuts and project cancellations. Nothing ventured, nothing gained.
343M units in 2012
232M units in 2016
Lol.. If I am a major shareholder, I would pay ardent attention to this thread
Anybody remember Dadi Perlmutter in open forum, sarcastically said he 'loves' Intel phone, even though he could not make phone call with it? Because someone forgot to apply for FCC license.
rf_guy ??? RF wannabe ?
MeeGo... something that intel work together with nokia
Xscale it was ARM but failed, how can that be if ARM is the toast of the low power world?
Aquisition of a failed third rate near bankrupt German cellular Modem company known as Infineon, at a total cost of well over $1.4B. They should had instead purchased VW "clean Diesel" manufacturing plant. Would had been much less costly!!
