There will be significant reductions coming in Q4 in both SPS and HBT. They just went through eliminating some of the positions in ACS that did not fall into either of the new businesses and the plan is to cut jobs from the two new businesses by year end to go into 2017 with a clean (aka decimated) workforce.

List is already done. cOEs, PC, and a few managers are going to be laid off. If your manager gave you "busy" work think again your on the list. Reorg happening within the groups. If your lucky to stay plan on you will be doing 3-4 other people's job. Good luck folks...
Hbt, anyone with direct reports were send rif emails, company has no clue that they are getting rid of valuable/key people. Company is too top heavy but the managers/supervisors are not the problem. They are getting rid of the wrong level, email had nothing about the tons of directors and VP's. They send out numorius organizational announcements of these crazy, useless created top tier positions but they are getting rid of all the people who do the actual work. I have been with Honeywell for 20 years and have never experienced anything like this. WTF
I received an email advising that on Monday 8/22/16 an email will be going out to Band 4 and below seeking "hand raisers" for a voluntary RIF. Obviously the next thing will be a mandatory RIF. Don't they understand at one point you need people to do the work
Confirmed yes they will be decimating the few good people that remain. The cull begins shortly. I have never been asked to do such a repugnant thing in all my years of work.... For what reason? Simple greed. The company is making obscene amounts of money even in this difficult climate yet we must behave like the market has slumped and we are loosing money. If you work for honeywell I urge you to start looking for work elsewhere as soon as you can because they no longer see their employees as assets. Only liabilities.
