If I tell you what - I am concerned you'll laugh - but how can you ignore so many warning signs here in Franklin Lakes.

Holbrook was laid off his house forclosed on his wife probably left him. Just wondering if he is contemplating slitting something . Probably army affirmative action with no clue. BD just got better.
are you 50 + or work at BD more than 10 year. that's the warning sign. let go the old and expensive . bring in cheap and young
At one time I loved God and followed his way. Then I started working in a Medical Devices Corporation and tried to follow God's will, but quickly learned I was being eaten by vultures. Growing up in a ghetto I use to deal with thugs, criminals, and scum. I applied the techniques I learned in the ghetto and I would treat people like scum, I would intimidate them, attack them mentally, and take advantage of them all while maintaining a corporate professional hypocritical demeanor. I rose thru the ranks quickly. The higher I got the greater I intensified my tactics. I became an expert at intimidation and hypocrisy and that gave me so much power. I increased my salary ten fold. I was a corporate expert at last. One step away from CEO, just one more throat to slash, but I did not reach the summit. I quit this game in laughter because all I wanted is to prove to myself that I could enter hell and dance with the devil and his followers (upper management) but in the end nothing in this world will prevent me from loving GOD. I apologized to my Lord for my actions and thanked him for taking me back. I swear I will never go back to the devils then. I started a small engineering business with my wife. We are a two man team even though our customers think we have many employees due to our high level of quality and quick delivery. We design, machine, weld, we do electrical wiring, and programming. We just work hard everyday. We forgot what time we arrive, leave, or eat lunch because everyday is different. All we know is that our God gives us our daily bread and provides our daily needs. I hope you all find your way and mat God bless you.
Holbrook I know exactly who he is and he's never had personality and he was reported to HR by someone on my behalf. I'm still bitter about the BD layoff of 2015
BD is not the same company anymore. Health benefits are getting worse and worse. Only high deductible plans with high employee contribution are offered to new employees. My daughter's acne cream cost me $300+ because I had not met my deductible. It's like funding your own health insurance. BD has gone downhill since outsourcing IT to HCL and Capgemini. Intellectual properties were also sold to Capgemini. It's like renting a house from the person you sold your house to. It's all numbers game; shifting # from one cost center to another to make BD look profitable for shareholders. Anything to prop up stock prices. Quality of work has suffered. Capegemini replaced the IT developers that were let go with ten times more of resources, but quantity cannot beat quality. I applaud Pres. Trump to limit the issuance of H1 visa. The H1 workers are taking jobs away from Americans. Managers from Carefusion proposed systems and future landscape that are not proven. It's all about protecting job security of the Carefusion employees.
Get this trash out the OR. 3M other competitors out there.
Holocene extinction can't come any sooner?
There is a Carefusion worker Holbrook there that went from motor cycle mechanic to Carefusion tech. Rude with zero professonal skills . Army affirmative action at its worst. I guess it's true be all you can be. Stick with the rejectron or nigtron.
Stick with the n---ertrons. Your products are filth and trash falling apart.
BD was great for years before Carefusion was around. There is a real difference between a company built from the ground up, on guiding principles, vs a spinoff of another company simply to be a profit at the point it is sold. Sorry, Carefusion never had a soul, and was simply a cash vehicle. Not even in the same class as BD. Check your history, BD lost its soul when it allowed these profit incentive leaders from Carefusion into influential positions. Shame. BD was once a great company... Funny how fast it died.
BD was the worst thing to ever happen to CareFusion. We had a great company with great people. BD is big, slow, cheap, and likes to do everything a---backwords. Your IT department has been completely destroyed by HCL. HCL bit off more than they could chew and continues to drop the ball on very basic services. You get what you pay for...Good job BD.
anyone working with BD should have seen the warning signs when the "acqusition" happened... "let's come up with new values, because the 100+ year old values that made us great aren't good enough for some spinoff of cardinal health that was only created to be a profit center and make money and was only useful until it was sold"... hell - the values from that side of the house were all about money, profit, customer, money, profit. The values that made BD great, I mean TRULY great, had been around for many many decades. And served the company well. Compromising those values, adding in profit incentive and the other vapid bumper sticker slogans should have been a clue. IF you were paying attention. Ed Ludwig was a great leader. Vince was a bit of a wet dishrag and was steamrolled by the smooth talking POS slick willies from an acquisition that is not about values and principles, but is all about profit and bottom line. Not necessarily a bad thing, it's just not BD. BD is no longer the same company anymore. The once great company is now dead. What is here today is a mockery of what made the tradition and values that made the company great. And that is very sad. Very sad.
Get Companies like this to STOP the craziness, while us American suffer.
I'm not gone yet, but I cannot imagine working for this non-caring, OUTSOURCE CRAZY, old fashioned IT mentality, disorganized, poor processes, breaking everything they touch company. I have NEVER IN MY LIFE SEEN ANYTHING LIKE THIS, and I have been in the Corporate world for almost 45 years.
...and it will not get any better, I promise you!
Once you notice warning igns it entirely too late. Hell, read the threads ever since the merge with carefusion. No longer the same company - do yourself a favor. Get a better job with a company that cares about you. BD sold its soul and will suffer for it ...
What warning signs? Really? How about a company that no longer lives up to its touted "values" and has been systemically cutting people left and right. Here is a tip : update your resume, start making connections, wait to get laid off to get the nice severance package, then get another job... this company is on a path like the the titanic was on a path. Only a matter of time. It will start sinking, then will be snapped up by some larger company once the performance drops enough
Do you make a good salary? That's a warning sign. I was with my company for 15+ years when BD bought us; as part of the merger they laid off a bunch of people then said "that's it, we have our team" then after a few months they outsourced all of the IT infrastructure people (to HCL). Then six months later they laid off all the application development and support folks (replaced with Capgemini). After all the years, I was let go on a conference call. I'll get 20 weeks of severance as long as I train someone in India to do my job.
what warnings signs should we look for?
