Whole Foods Market Mid Atlantic now has 8 suspended store team leaders for steeling Time and money from The team members that work hard in their store. its the thick of the holiday season when Whole foods needs all leadership on deck to Drive sales.These 8 people need to be terminated ASAP. and so should the regional president for letting this happen. You can not send these criminals back to the stores in leadership roles Everyone knowe's who they are and they have lost all respect. The Back bone of this company is the team members who work in the store. And we allowed a network of criminals to steel money from them. This is a disgrace considering we run our mouth about the importance of Team Member happiness. Some one grow Balls and set an example by terminating these common thieves.

That is true about admin ( I also worked in Ohio store.. Nice to see a couple others posting) .. But it screwed the people under admin labor because they would lose hours if other teams needed to transfer.. Some of the admin team members ( i.e. Maintaince, ssi ..) needed their hours. It wasn't fair to dock them to bail out other dept.. And not once EVER did any of our upper echelon "leadership" use their precious vacation hours to keep the admin hours for the minions. No matter how you look at it or whether or not it was " ok" this company has run dirty for a long time .. do you really believe the worst these people have been up to is labor transferring ? That is the tip of the proverbial iceberg..their problem is they are too crooked to run an ethical company and too stupid to get away with not running one. Just pour the gasoline and light the match already..
Admin labor does not factor into gainsharing. Admin gainsharing is an average of the teams that make gainsharing, so if a TL picks up a couple of shift leader shifts and that helps hers/his team make labor, that will actually increase admin TM's gainsharing by adding another team to the positive pool. Look it up, admin is a discretionary budget. It does not work like team labor.
Once the media gets wind of this, they will then make a meal of it. Let's not forget they cheated their loyal customers (Weights&Measures-AsparagusWater), now they cheat their very own employees! Can this company ever be trusred? NO
Moving labor to admin only diminishes the admin teams gainsharing (housekeeping, demo ga, receiving and back in the day marketing, accountants, Tms and scan whoever is considered admin and causes them to have to reduce hours so the admin team makes budget for the quarter. Not a lot of gainsharing in admin for me it was 25 to 50 dollars maxr. At my stores the stl and astl usually took off one week near the end of the quarter and started asking for voluntary vacations to make this happen. When you move to one store labor you can't move anything to admin as only the salaried codes do not count into making labor for the store.
I worked at a Cleveland Ohio store also.. There was a lot of "suggesting" to work off the clock if you "needed" to.... I never did ( in all fairness I didn't even want to be there on the clock let alone off) .. However quite a few did. The stl knew about it and did not stop the leadership from " suggesting" it .. Oh and there was also quite a bit of forging documents ( temp logs, bulk log etc.. ) adorable company ;)...
Just to clarify, admin labor does not pay out gainsharing, so moving labor from a team to admin does not decrease anyone's gainsharing. There are scores of legitimate reasons to move labor to admin (shift leading, holiday table, travel to name a few). Moving labor from one budgeted team to another without actually working on that team is not ok. That will reduce gainsharing, but the only issue with moving it to admin is that it's money out of the store's bottom line and the STL gets docked if they miss admin's discretionary budget.
I know for a fact ( watched it happen) that labor was switched to admin on more then one occasion.. That was in Cleveland Ohio store ...,not sure if the stl there was hit .. ( because thankfully I got the f--- out ) But i can tell you all three in that market are SHADY ..
Um, every single store I've ever done payroll for shifts labor around on payroll monday. It is normal for this company to do this. I think the problem is more endemic although I guess these certain STLs will be the scapegoats for the whole region/company.

We had an astl in sw who had been a crackhead and manager of a walmart (they fired him for the crack).he went to rehab, got a haircut and wholefoods hired him as a yes man.
I wonder if the media will get any coverage out of this? I assume it is still early days in regards to details. I'm sure every aspect of these team leaders stores is currently under investigation by regional. I wonder if it will effect or ensnare certain team leaders.
Just stfu and keep working dumb a-- m------f---- sh-- talker. My team was one making labor, that labor was transfered to other team members of the store to get a store out of the hole. Tbh it's one store one team, it should just be one store wide payout. I've been busting my a-- coming in my store every single day but has this affected me? Yes because I miss my leadership team. But am I upset about what they did a little but we are all human beings.

they are all STL's who manipulated labor houres to make the store look better and that means cheating team members out of Gain share owed to them. That is steeling and last time i checked against the law. They will cost the company Tons of money to pay back our loyal cheated TM the holiday sales will suffer not having leadership in the stores some one should post there names so everybody knowe,s who it is.

I assume part of it is team leaders who continually look the other way while team members are working off the clock?
