For the PSEs out there. Third party maintenance for EMC products is big growth market now, well how could it not be given how support was managed in to the smoking hole it is now. Maybe Dell will change that, but they'd have to clean house in the division. By way of comparison Compellent support is fantastic! Longest I've had to wait on hold is 5 minutes and I get a PSE! Not a vague promise of a call back.
But I digress, if you're willing to move, and I know it's tough, there are companies that provide third party EMC support looking for the skills the PSE's have. Just Google third party EMC support, it's growing since the customers don't want to get near EMC support anymore.
