The rebadged PepsiCo workers with Cognizant are being benched. This means they will no longer work for Pepsi and have 7 weeks in which to find another position within a different Cognizant account. Problem is, Cognizant is not helping with the search and there are zero callbacks on applications submitted. So what Cognizant is doing is riding us out for 7 weeks. No severance. No gold watch. Shame on you Indra! Shame on you D'Souza!

I don't know the ins and out of the laws, but EVERYONE call the hotline and email to report this. It is abundantly CLEAR to employees that management DISCRIMINATES AGAINST AMERICAN WORKERS. Let's not let them get away this!
I also suggest to take action at work, report report report. Some of these people admitted to me they forged immigration documents to get visas.
You ever notice how many use a different name than their REAL name? Why do you think that is?
I hate to be a 'NARC' but the company has chosen their side. We must fight back.
Here is the conundrum Discrimination is difficult to prove and under current h1 legislation that is even more. Pepsi Cognizant knows it and together gaming the current system. An example, for h1, there is loophole in current legislation that says if h1 will be paid more than 60 thousand, that the position not have to be offered to american worker .... Yes, you read right. If position less than 60k, than employer MUST post a Labor Condition Agreement where they appease current legislation process to offer position to american by posting while behind scenes know full well they will give it to the lesser paid h1 because of colluding unethical practices. current legislation needs to change Write your congressional representative ... write to others mentioned on this board ... call the hotline and at least report the offense and why h1 rules must change. You can do so anonymously. You can just give city and state. You can ask that call still be reported up to Sessions even though under current legislation the cards do not work in favor of american worker. Don't let that stop you from calling. The gov opened this line to see what kind of response they get. Now is chance to make a change. Whatever sector you are in understand this not begin nor stop with one area such as tech. That given chance pepsi and cognizant would outsource anybody who is not high up manager executive and will continue. Its all bout who will do the work for a lot less. This is what things have come to. Is this the world we want for our selves and for those that follow ? A race to bottom for all those but at top Now is time to make a difference. Spread word, speak up and let action follow
Hell, I say everyone report. Keep emailing them, let them get 1000s of emails and phone calls until the company takes action.
