I was at the awards show and it is a joke that everyone got the participation trophy. I got one and forgot to take it back to my room, so probably was discarded. I don't want a participation trophy--I want my commission that they continue to screw me out of. Most of the veterans know that this is a mask to improve morale and make the company look they are rebounding after massive revenue losses, layoffs, and unfit executive management decisions. I don't want to take selfies while on stage, boomerangs of the team doing tequila shots, or hug it out with the rep who made their goal for the first time in 5 years. Please just stop screwing me out of my bonus so I can leave this toxic company as soon as possible.
Is this the never ending sales meeting? How many self promoting thank you's/ monologues are going to be written on Facebook? Never seen people go on and on about the awards they won- has anyone heard of humility or that actions speak louder than words?
It's also deflating for reps doing their jobs ethically when the people that are winning these big time awards sales aren't kosher and gaming the system.
