What does CHK ACTUALLY Need?

Open message to all employees - what do you think CHK actually need to drive differential performance? In my department, things are decent. Not perfect, but certainly don't see to suffer from some of the problems that everybody complains about on here. The Culture stuff is dumb, and I don't really like it either, but if it helps the company perform better, I'm for it. Let's not fool ourselves - with no big asset sales or some revolution that lets us drill a well for $250,000... the company's fate hangs by a thread. Is your job frustrating? Why?... I've heard many complain that all good ideas are shot down until the same idea is proposed by a more well-connected person (usually engineer).

It also seems like the Executive team has been largely absent this year. After Q4 last year with analyst day and the Employee Summit, it seemed that the direction of the company was at least visible and we were all on the same page. This year... practically silence. No call/no show on the Q2 Town Hall?. I think the Exec's need to quit being so insulated from the workers. The only message they've been unified on is the culture training. Hey Doug - what message does that send? "The company is in crisis mode, and we aren't talking about it. Instead, we are going to spend god-knows-how-much on training so you'll all learn how to behave at work". WTF?

2hxc, well said, the field office Restrooms are freaking gross. It's sad can't believe an E&P company would put their field employees in these conditions. You can bet your sweet a** that the facilities in OKC are clean.

Aubrey was a salesman. He could tell a great story. Chk needs a great story to sell. The story that we are just another E&P company is boring especially with people talking about electric cars and solar/renewables.

I used to work there before downloadbesttorrentblog.rus. I was overpaid. However, I did care about what happened to this company. I feel like they just replaced me with cheaper people who really don't care if they work there or if it goes under, they can always work somewhere else for the same pay. So if it s---s then that's why.

Better point regarding the restrooms, how can we keep up morale without clean facilities. JP, you & your homies get in the company jet this week, make some field visits, doing some potty inspections, lets clean this crap hole up. I am more concerned about professional facilities, quit spending so much time are your darn TIL videos and lets do the small things to keep our most precious assett happy by at least providing them a sanitary place to use the restroom with handsoap & TP. I can sympathize about the cleanliness, the restrrooms in our field office are gross. Lights don't work, no TP, no paper towels, no hand soap half the time. I find myself driving 7 miles into town to use the gas station restroom. You want to know what can be done...... clean & stock the restrooms more frequently for starters it is ridiculous. But no, we are more worried about our mood elevators & what type of personality each of us have. You are better off giving a fist bump in the field vs. shaking hands #no handsoap

2jrb, you must have some personal hatred against OKC, you have multiple posts on different boards here about moving CHK out of OKC, what's your beef with the city. Or you are just a troll who paste the same crap over & over. For example How many times Can the one individual keep posting abouth the 200 k pool & the lake house, give me a break!
