Thread regarding CVS layoffs

Feb 2018

February 2018 there will be another restructuring. Including FCT, Tsm’s, District admins, and Rlpm. Just got word through the grapevine. Store closures will be coming too. Low volume. Low script stores in the cross hairs (under 35k FS and under 500 scripts weekly)

I have seen this corporate type activity before when the top people are in over their head and waiting for their golden parachutes. CVS has issues in IT can’t get registers right link to coupons and CVS cards. IT can’t get inventory and buyers right to keep stores properly stocked. Shelf’s empty due to inventory outs I den this when companies were in trouble. The way Larry is running CVS into the ground with Bob and others CVS will be like K-Mart and Sears. Does the board and stockholders know how poor stocked and dirty the stores are? Cutting hours to make a store look better on the books is driving customers in mass numbers.

The target sell could be real deal cause if you look at Target at way in structure it store cvs starting to sound like target Team members target work for non manager employees now on cvs job site no longer clerk/cashier but team members. The new name for our district manager now district leader a Target word and with the possibility of them change store manager to store leader that what Target call there management in stores..... So maybe it not far strech that target will buy retail side of business....

Part of the deal is we buy your Rx and you buy our front store. End of next year it will be announced.

I am still trying to figure out, the same as the analysts on Wall Street, why CVS ever purchased the Target Pharmacies, and then..along comes the AETNA purchase?
