The employees doesn't know they are taking ones job from onshore. Please ask trump to have strict rules not to outsource and save your job.

: Everyone "takes" someone else's job when they get hired. Do you really think the laid off individuals were the ones who proposed outsourcing to Verizon? No, jobs were offered and they took them, just like the onshore wireline people did when they got hired. Don't blame the workers.

The jobloss due to layoff itself doesn't hurt, the manner in which it is done hurts, the key take away is to take note of how professionals are being treated by companies who hunt for quick profits.

Due to lengthy process of taking permissions from government to layoff people in Indian companies are adopting backdoor methods to shed people.

The serious trouble for laid off people is the discriminatory policies in Indian It companies that prevent people who lsot jobs from getting jobs again in different company.

But it is interesting that when VDSI employees were mistreated,it has been published in many online sources. When onshore gets constantly layed off for years, it is complete silence.
