At a recent store meeting, the regional marketing scumbag...sorry, I mean manager, told us to about that stupid IMPACT propaganda and how we had to step up our customer service. Otherwise, she said, people would start using Amazon more. Start! They ARE using Amazon more, and within 2 years Lowe’s as we know it won’t exist. Great I say - one more corporate monster down for the count.

LOW Mgt is lost & arrogant from Corp office, regional Mgr & Store Mgr. Stock Boys worried about their bonus. Terrible how they treat & screw over CSA. Bad work environment, Dead End Street. HD will continue to own LOW...
I agree, we need to get rid of genesis. It’s time consuming, and especially at the service desk. An easier and simpler software would make everything run more smoothly. It’s a joke to go through multiple screens to find orders, process a payment, print labels etc.
I still think the destruction of Lowe's is deliberate. If the firm is eventually bought by Amazon, what will the stock be worth? Isn't that the whole idea? I think it is.
Agree 1000% with the Sterling is junk post. Use Niblocks bonus as seed money for the project.
Lowe's is so far behind the curve. Sterling won't talk to genesis and vice versa. When you turn sterling, it disables the pin pads on the registers do you have to have it running on a dedicated machine at customer service, sterling cant run POS so you're screwed and have to switch back and forth. Stupid.. stupid.. stupid...
I don't understand why Lowe's simply won't pick up the phone can call Google, Microsoft, and Oracle to a round table and say fix our IT infrastructure and launch a new totally integrated truly "omnichannel" platform. One interface for everything from every department. Heck, Home Depot did that and it's a unified architecture across all departments from Millworks to Returns, to Customer Service, to PRO. Lowe's can't seem to get it's inflated ego out of it's butt to fix things.
They are showing once again how clueless they are. They are followers. We all know followers get left in the dust. Amazon is an aggressive leader and innovator. GO AMAZON. Go away Lowes.
