When is Chevron going to go through all the older HR paperwork and hotline complaints to get rid of all the s-xual and other harassers that continue to stalk the grounds of San Ramon, Houston, and other places. Instead of getting fired like Matt Lauer their behavior is covered up with “golly gee, no one ever came forward.” BS. They were protected. Protect the company now and fire these people. Show you really mean to be inclusive instead of spending lots of bucks holding workshops and diversity moments. That will make a lot more jobs open for the good people soon to be subjected to layoffs.

HR is absolutely worthless. They support the poor and unfair decisions of management to assist them in moving up the ladder. They are usually very poorly trained and do not know or understand federal labor laws.
HR is the worst vehicle to go to .. I have seen first and how incompetent HR is and do not even care about anyone else except moving up in their career. They all are on a power trip
I am one of the few women in my department and I hate that saying also. It's pretty disgusting. Although I did have one supervisor who did get my panties in quite the wad. In fact, I would take them off and wad them up and let him have his way with me whenever I wanted of he was ready. He was quite the man though, unlike most of you little boys on this website. He would stay up like a flagpole for me for hours. He was the only person at Chevron who really satisfied me. And that's the only time I enjoyed having my panties in a wad. And dripping wet as far as that goes, but I probably shouldn't mention all the details here, probably get censored lol.
Happy holidays to all.
I would love to not get a single email for six months. Sign me up.
We had a boss at chevron who's favourite saying to woman who overstepped their boundaries in his meetings or daily work was stop getting your panties in a wad. One woman complained and she was put on the bench and did not get a single email for 6 months. She complained again and the boss put her on assignment in Nigeria. After 6 months in Nigeria she came back and said no more. The boss asked her what was her problem. She said her fiancé didn't like her gone so much. The bosses response was well there are a lot of eligible bachelors in Nigeria. She then decided to leave the company but made a complaint to the omnibus. The boss was sent to communication training as reprimand. This boss was also notorious for calling all the women on a business trip and intimidating them with poor pmp unless they joined the party in his room and would get them drunk into the wee hours. Spouses would be calling trying to find their wives who were passed out on the floor of his room. This boss is now a gm and PDc rep and very well protected. All the women who stayed have been promoted as a means to not speak out against him. Well done chevron
The male harassment received in chevron reported to the appropriate channels was not acted on promptly, then reported to the hotline where only surface level information is gathered. Management doesn’t want to look bad so they alter the final report...it is no wonder why females don’t report being treated like s-xual play things in sjvbu. What is the point? You will be retaliated against even though you reported in good faith.
I usually get popcorn and a soda when I come here to read the predictions of the future from the laid off destitute souls on this website. It's quite soothing.
I almost wish I could do more to ease their pain..... naw, maybe not.
Well, back to the topic at hand. How many harassers of all stripes at Chevron are ready to be called out? Rest assured the ones who are going to pay the heaviest price will be women in the workforce. Since so many allegations are made by them, some 20+ years after the fact, corporations will begin to hire far less of them. Given the choice between an equally qualified man or a woman, just which one is mire likely to be hired. Uhmmm?
Matt Lauer is (was) an anchor at NBC, not CNN. But not that far off the mark. They both spew fake news and molesters.
True. I recognize your point, rsi. Yet Matt Lauer was fired from CNN today for s-xual harassment accusations alone. Go figure.
I think you will find few to none of those complaints were actionable. Complainants were anonymous and refused follow up investigations. Nothing HR could do. So, to answer your question, all legitimate complaints are pursued if it is possible to do so. There is no action to review old complaints years after the fact.
Anyone with current issues should try to capture evidence with phone, foto, audio, video, email, etc.
OP, If you can’t stand the heat, then get out. Simple.
