It's truly sad how negative our work environment has become. The situation is reaching toxic proportions. The majority hate coming into work - Are being supervised by people who don't really care about them - And are being directed by senior leaders who are often clueless about where to take the company. So what comes first the chicken or the egg? In business, it is the senior leaders who are to cultivate the culture of a company. One Company - if so - then prove it by reducing the number of VPs and add the payroll back to customer facing priorities.
The work environment has been toxic for more than 4 years! You may not have felt it until now. Others have been abused, marginalized and dismissed (many without any severance). If you thought you were exempt, that's called exceptionalism. Exceptionalism is pure hubris. Everyone is subject the tantrums of the abusive company. You have an expiration date.
