Does anyone have any current numbers on enrollment, number of campuses? Sounds like the situation gets more desperate by the day. And it won't be surprising if more whistleblowers come out before they leave. The Phoenix brand looks like toast...

Somehow they always pass the HLC site visits and I don't know how that's possible. HLC apparently does not ask for documentation from colleges that shows evidence of substantial participation from faculty in curriculum and assessment, or for documentation about keeping up with faculty qualifications, especially from the School of Nursing. What a train wreck. And SON exec dean now leads like 3 or 4 colleges, because that's what they do with the incompetents--promote them.
You are correct. They just restructured the entire company to redesign courses because they know what they've been peddling to students all these years is garbage.
There can be more than one criminal
The people in upper management at University of Phoenix are the ones who should be called criminals. Think of how much taxpayer money they have cost taxpayers in financial aid for people who either aren't qualified to go to college, people who are just trying to get the financial aid money and drop after they get their checks and people who are college material (who should go to a reputable state school) but got swayed by a sales pitch by an enrollment representative and those students can't get a job because employers see that UoP degree is a piece of crap degree. Even if someone was homeless, we were still supposed to overcome that objection so that they would attend.
I worked at UOP for almost two years in recruiting before I quit and I was miserable the whole time. It made me question the integrity of the people I knew who worked there who encouraged me to apply for a job at UOP. Were they blind, in denial or just corrupt people?
I hope UoP closes its doors soon and that people who care about making the world a better place get out before it does.
Carmen, you are the type of guy that cheers watching a homeless man dying in the street. You shout, I told you to get a job! Gleefully proud at the moment of death.
You are not entitled to know any of that. Criminal.
