SSR Orange Aggreement

Has anyone noticed that the new union aggreement doesn't specify SSRs?

I've been reading it and it only specifies RSCs, no mention of SSRs........

I've also heard SSRs and ASMs are next for Q1s layoffs.

that just says in the event of a layoff you can apply to the following openings if there are openings. the rest of the book refers to the RSC.

What is going to happen when a store and it’s employees are handed over to an authorized retailer?

Takes all of 2 minutes of reading to figure it out and not spread fear:

Page 23 of the new Orange Contract:

  1. The company will guarantee employment security from a surplus resulting in a layoff of a regular employee as a result of a retail store or call center closure, during the term of the 2017 Regional Labor Agreement, subject to the conditions and provisions contained in this ESC.

  2. Any regular employee who is in a surplus status pursuant to Article 14, Force Adjustment, or is in a title which the Company has determined it will eliminate or vacate (i.e. title is not populated), will be given a job offer as described in paragraph 3 provided the following conditions are satisfied:

A. Employee must be in one of the following titles:

-Business Customer Service Specialist I

-Business Customer Service Specialist II

-Customer Service Representative I

-Customer Service Representative II

-Customer Support Specialist

-Client Service Specialist

-COS Sales Advocate

-Retail Sales Consultant

Sales Support Representative

-Telesales Representative

I just need it specified, not trying to ensue fear. just wish it was blatantly stated instead of using a bunch of words to say "you're fine"

I just read the contract and it’s there. Stop fear mongering with wrong information.

Don't know if it's nationwide, but the West is going to be affected. Does your contract specifiy anything about SSRs? Orange contract doesn't use the word "employee" they only use Retail Sales Consultant.

Would that be nationwide for SSR layoff or just where the orange contract is? I’m in the southeast, so just curious.
