Posting this to help move down the troll posts from Albany and other weird postings. It feels like a deliberate effort to bury real conversation about layoffs and other issues. Still hearing end of January and March for the 2nd wave. Also any MyWork will be getting a package soon. Sidenote: been tracking my co-workers and managers vacation...doesn't match Workday at all. Anyone else noticing how often people skim and cheat the company.

FYI - they also track your card swipes.
All good in Albany
the 70K number is incorrect.........also it is possible to WFH for the whole week, while documentating your VPN hours privatley, there is an automated tool that tracks it for you on your laptop AND it's company sanctioned, I never used that though, I preferred to simply document my VPN hours the old fashioned way: by hand on a piece of paper. I got away with 2 days in office, rest WFH, but carefully monitoring VPN vs. Good application mobile time, tried to ensure less than 72 hours per month....it worked just fine, but somehow I always got the feeling that the bank was implemenintg tools for advanced tracking efforts, e.g., tracking usage of GOOD mobile app
Are you positive about those numbers? What happened to the 67k? Were they let go?
In 2016 there were approximately 70,000 MyWork employees. Today there are around 3,000.
More than 72 hours for a rolling three months will put you on a report
WFH for the whole week is too many hours!
Green grass in Albany NY we work from home.
Does anyone know how many VPN hours are too many?
Different LOB's have different policies concerning MYWORK, I had a role, prior to my layoff, where the team was decentralized and the nature of my team's job was such that MYWORK made sense, all my teamates were MYWORK, however, there still was the mandate to move back to HUB city locations, in fact my previous manager was forced out this way: severance out or move to STL, that was a fiasco as I said before space issues in STL, etc. Layoffs occur quarter over quarter, it may be true that LOB financial sheet determines this, but from top of the house number is given and that is the amount of people that must be cut. I often wondered how the decision is made on WHOM to layoff (salary, performance, tenure, etc.)...........VPN tracking is in effect, as I said, one work around is to use your GOOD app to monitor email status on mobile phone, shutdown VPN where you are in a slow mode during the day thus saving your VPN hours. Yes it will show "MOBILE" on your IM, but regardless....I used to do this all the time and never was anything said about working off of mobile phone.....however, I suspect strategies may be put into effect to monitor MOBILE access on the good app, creating another reporting tool for managment to monitor employeees action...
Everything is relevant in Albany NY
Keep posting on the relevant threads to keep the troll or (BOFA spies) posts from clogging out the real threads. I wish there was a reporting feature to clean off the deliberate crap.
- I think you are right. I have heard the same message regarding layoff approaches. There really is no hit list. The financials are what drives this and it goes without saying that folks typically suffer this way because of really really bad management. It is also the reason that contractors are now furloughed for two weeks each year. My 2c
Former teammate who posted to different area in late 2017 said one of the first meetings she attended was a year end wrap up call hosted by leadership for the entire area. The leadership took questions that had been pre-submitted by email. They spent a lot of time answering questions about "how layoffs work". The message given was that lobs that don't manage their finances well and lose money are those that have to let people go. Areas that overspend and don't meet their financial goals have to make that money up somewhere -- through layoffs. This is why the same areas tend to have layoffs and some don't. Further, there is no "hit list" and whether the person is a B4, 5, 6 or whatever -- mywork or not makes no difference. Once the area gets the directive to make up the loss, they have to decide who to chop. This area simply looks at a stack ranking and lets the poor performers go. I don't know the name of the department but it is a Business Controls type of role that she moved into. Furthermore, she was already mywork and they allowed her to transfer into the area in the same status. This layoff strategy sounds good on paper but doesn't seem to follow anything I have ever heard or known. Also, the whole inconsistency factor regarding mywork is maddening. ???? comments anyone ?
In order to avoid the VPN limit I turn off my computer and fire up the grill.
MYWORK was temporarily suspended in mid 2016, that is, the mandate that MYWORK employees migrate to hub city locations (STL, Dallas InfoMart, etc)...........there were space issues in STL asa far as I know, so the whole thing was put on hold. I'm certain that the MYWORK program is a cover to layoff people, that is, you must move to a hub city and go into office if you don't you have option to severance out. Future potential employees may not have liberal MYWORK options and don't based on what I see on the Flagscape internal job posting site. VPN tracking is still in effect, so if you are NOT MYWORK, you need to monitor your VPN hours. VPN report is generated by LOB on a monthly basis and you will get caught if VPN hours are over your LOB thresehold.
My Work is just a convenient excuse when it serves the agenda.
Keep telling yourself that. A simple search on Flagscaoe shows the number of My Work employees has increased from 2751 on 10-8-16 to 3109 today 1-4-18. The program is growing! That’s a 13% increase! They preach Diversity and Inclusion. What hypocrisy!
Mywork employees were called in to offices in 2016, why they are still wfh (without medical exception) is beyond me. Those had targets on them so shouldn't be a surprise
