: about your QC a--hole comment, guess where those a--holes have been accumulaing since Dec 2015 ;-). The great Fat One has been dredging and dragging them along :-), and wrecking one of the greatest Tech Companies of all time. In 2-3 years the Fat One and his QC a--hole buddies would succeed in shutting down Intel and made their millions.....

Funny how the little shill blasts against Q's questionable business practices when Intel does the same or worse. Q is just treating Apple and Intel like Intel has treated AMD for the last 10-15 years. Waaaah! Get back to your safe space, snowflake.

Hey Qualtroll. First, we have to see actual products and actual revenue numbers before anyone has „lost“ anything.

Second, look up the meaning of the word „shill“. It is not what you think it is.

Third, Qualcomm is not a better company. Just a company that is still leeching money out of old patents and cross-financing R&D from that. Viterbi‘s long gone. If Qualcomm were so great, you would not have to resort to illegal and questionable license agreements. You actually gave a discount to Apple in exchange for exclusivity? Wow, that reeks of desperation.

Fourth, Qualcomm will not have a 5G product on the market in 2019. Qualcomm will not exist in 2019. I voted blue. Time to get rid of the cancer called Qualcomm. A petty company with a culture of pettiness. Never met a Qualcomm guy who wasn‘t an a--hole. Good riddance!

Same b---s--- as with 3G and LTE. When the first iPhone was released, people complained that it only had 2G. But it really didn‘t f---ing matter, because 3G coverage was very sparse then, and the 3G solutions that were available ate battery power like Trump eats cheeseburgers. It will be the same with 5G. Some companies will release 5G phones in 2019, just so that people can boast that their phone contains some useless technology that gets the device hot enough to fry bacon for breakfast.

The timing of the Apple all-in-with-Intel articles and this QCOM announcement makes me smile. There is no way Intel or anyone else can leapfrog QCOM on 5G. Apple is screwed (at least in their future negotiations with QCOM).

Intel will have 6G by then.

Qualcomm has working with big partners i dont think they will change to intel 5g. Its proven slow.

by | Post ID:

The end to slow intel 5g. Once qualcomm dominated is going to dominate again. Intel fail a lot of times they have terrible past the new ceo wont made any difference

"There has been talk that 5G products would not be available until 2020, but Qualcomm believes that 5G will have an impact on revenue a year earlier than that. This collection of phone and device providers puts Qualcomm well ahead of Intel in terms of integration and support in the market, something Qualcomm has believed would be the case but is only now finally confirmed. Commercialization of 5G and collaborations with the leading device manufacturers will push Intel further back in the race, with time running out for it to catch up."
