Thread regarding Mondelez International Inc. layoffs

It's Coming!

Just received email today for a conference call in reference to CAO test for Walmart in our region. It is coming.

I would think that by the end of the second quarter we will be warehouse in Walmart.

If the tag does not read DSD than it is a catalogue number. Kroger uses this number for warehouse. Take a look at Keebler tag.

Does the catalog number on the tag start with 01 or 69 at Kroger?

by | Post ID:

That's the truth!

Funny how they can send blind nos orders of 15cs of premiums to my Walmarts but my other customers can only get 1 case

by | Post ID:

No one on this thread has commented about all the cuts on our orders .. for months this has been going on

Why are premiums on allocation for months?

See where this is going....

by | Post ID:

Yep! Just reg and rf triscuits 12pk.

Seagraves told me Kroger wasn't doing CAO just Walmart in April here in Ohio.

He's such a liar!

I'm sorry I doubted you.

You are making way more sense than upper management.

They aren't probably testing CAO in your area, they are here! Our tags have a catalogue number for Kroger warehouse. Kroger also requested we go from pack 12 on crackers to pack 6 to eliminate bs when they go warehouse. Only two core flavors were left pack12, this way whole case will go up. I bet premiums start coming in cardboard soon, reason Kroger initially eliminated zesta and reason they put zesta in cardboard.

You talking about shelf tags at Kroger?

Mine still say DSD on them.

What should I look for on the tags?

by | Post ID:

Precisely why their shelf tags reflect DSD and ours do not! Yes, they own their own route.

Management does not want a mass exodus so they will tell people what they want to hear to make them comfortable and stay. Dirk has ties to companies that were looking to purchase us, that's the hope! A new company could easily convert us to warehouse. Why do you think mondelez consolidated all the branches and have trucks driving 5 hours now? Cost saving? No way! This plan has been in the work for years, Kroger has wanted the business back for a long time, bottom line profitably! Again, up to you to believe what you want.

by | Post ID:

That's definitely good factual sources.

I'm not trying to argue, just trying to get some answers to see which direction I should head in.

I'm surprised about Pepperidge farm and voortman though.

Aren't them guys independent operators?

How can they dissolve them?

by | Post ID:

I'm certainly not concerned as to what you believe! That is up to you. I've been told by my accounts that DSD is ending, that's what I know. Been told by Kroger senior management, DSD will end. I could care a less what you believe, you can think mondelez is comitted to DSD all you want! It's not up to mondelez, it's our customers decision! That's why they don't have a problem telling you,"mondelez is committed to DSD"! I know a little about Frito cause my partner is a supervisor. I'm glad you feel your job is secure, as for me I am actively interviewing and bought myself a new car. Way too many red flags!! I bet you think that the 60 million distribution plant they just built in Hebron Ky was just built for Keebler? I was told it was to house DSD, only Keebler in there now, lots of extra room! Figures that was why our shelf tags here reflect a catalog number and not DSD, as do pepperidge farm, vortmann, and a few others? Keep thinking DSD is here to stay if it makes you feel better!

by | Post ID:

When are we exiting DSD then?

Since you know everything about Mondelez and Frito lay lol!!

Stop spreading rumors on here!

Bring some facts and my eyes will be wide open!

by | Post ID:

Whole different animal. Frito has told reps 3 years tops, they stopped buying trucks. Stores are going vendor by vendor and guess whose next?? Not fake news in this page, the real deal!

Nabisco also stop buying box trucks, only straight trucks! Hmmmmm. Sad to see so many gullible people! Rah rah, one world, one Dream. More like one line, the unemployment! Watch! Then we can post, "told ya so"!

by | Post ID:

Frito has been on CAO at Walmart and they're still delivering and merchandising.

Nothing to worry about!

Nabisco is committed to DSD!

Fake news on this page!

by | Post ID:

Yep! Can't imagine why people would lie about DSD going away but can imagine why management would want to cover up

by | Post ID:

Guess we'll find out soon.

April is only a couple months away.

Hard to decipher through the truth and rumors on this page

by | Post ID:

I heard April in Walmart going CAO.

Kroger to follow shortly after
