Those letters are sent out by law firms nationwide to employees of many big companies. They are primarily fishing expeditions by bottom-feeding lawyers. The letters are a waste of time as far as CCI is concerned, since there are no assets to pay any judgment that might be entered against it.

I received it, but if there's no money, there will be no settlement.

by | Post ID:

Give us a snippet of the letter.

by | Post ID:

I got the letter too. moc

by | Post ID:

The Instructors at Wyotech LB got the letter as well. This should be fun to watch unfold.

by | Post ID:

Hahahahahahaaaa

It wasn't a Robert "somebody" who sent the letter that the OP mentioned, it was actually Julia ROBERTs who sent the letter. She is a graduate of the medical billing program, but couldn't get a job so she ended up becoming a hooker in Los Angeles wearing thigh high boots and a blond wig and... Oh wait.

by | Post ID:

The several "others" who had responded were also the OP by the way. You can tell. It's about time we had just a little bit of humor. Though I cannot see the beginning thread either. It looks like this turned serious. With that saiid... YOU will all get through this. Whether purchased or shut down, YOU will survive and new chapters will begin. As much as this moment, and I repeat, this is only a moment in your life, YOU will survive this. As long as you maintain your perspective.

How can I get to the beginning of the thread to see the comment about Julia Roberts or Robert Downey Jr? I need a laugh. BTW, I don't appreciate the fake letter that the poster said he got.

by | Post ID:

Was that Regan, or maybe Reagan? Idiot.

by | Post ID:

It was meeeeeeeee!!!! It was meeeeeee, Yes, Preciious. Yes.

by | Post ID:

30799 IS NOT OP...I am

I received a letter yesterday, as did several others who have responded. Regan once said, and this rings ever more true today as evident here...It isn't that our liberal friends are so ignorant, it is that they know so much that isn't so. I leave this post on that note.

by | Post ID:

Drunk uncle? Why bring Jaaaaaack into this.

by | Post ID:

Fifty responses already. Fun!!

by | Post ID:

That memo came from Bob

by | Post ID:

Um, why would a letter from the plaintiffs lawyer pint out that the company will vigorously defend itself and this is without merit? Is this really from the letter you received?

by | Post ID:

Nice try OP. I pasted a portion of your content and that was directly taken from CCI's November quarter report, page 20. Fact is... There was no letter that you received. These lawsuits are real, but we see you just want to stir up the pot.

by | Post ID:

OP here. Here is a portion if the letter I got: In October 2013, an action captioned David Ratto, on behalf of himself and all others similarly situated, v. Corinthian Schools, Inc., et al., was filed in California’s Alameda Superior Court. The plaintiff is a former instructor at the Company’s Fremont campus. The action alleges violations of California’s Business and Professions Code Section, Labor Code and Industrial Welfare Commission Wage Orders for alleged failure to pay straight time, minimum and/or overtime wages for all hours worked, failure to provide all meal periods, failure to authorize and permit all paid rest periods, failure to timely furnish accurate itemized wage statements, violation of Labor Code §203, incurrence of penalties pursuant to Labor Code §§2698, et seq., and unfair business practices. While the scope of the putative class is not clear, the matter appears to seek certification of a class of current and former instructors who have worked at the Company’s California campuses over the relevant statute of limitations period. The Company believes the allegations are without merit and intends to vigorously defend itself.

by | Post ID:

Actually, I think it was Bob

by | Post ID:

What number?

by | Post ID:

Robert Duvall called

by | Post ID:

The lawsuit with the response due September is a different lawsuit. This thread was referencing a lawsuit by a Robert "somebody" according to the OP. The OP didn't want to share any other details of the letter he/ she received. I've been following the funny thread).

by | Post ID:

pathetic

by | Post ID:

I think it was Robert Redford trying to uncover another conspiracy like he did for Watergate... No wait

by | Post ID:

Maybe it was Robert Plant "Stairway letter to heaven" huhh huh huh huh hah hahhah haahhaa I am going to watch bevis and butthead now.. they are sooo funny..

by | Post ID:

Letter is dated 08/20/2014 and response due by 09/19/2014

by | Post ID:

Actually Heald is the only division that's profitable. Somehow a bunch of either CCI employees got on here

by | Post ID:

This lawsuit is old. It was back in 2013

by | Post ID:

it really was not that funny. Like listening to that drunk uncle make stupid jokes and only the drunk people think it is funny.

by | Post ID:

I agree OP. If this is the ignorance level of Heald staff it is no wonder the company is bankrupt

by | Post ID:

Hey. I can't see the entire thread. Anyone know how to get to the older posts from the beginning? Some if this is funny

by | Post ID:

I got a few letters.. 26 of them actually. A... B... C...

by | Post ID:

OP Back. The ignorance here amazes me. David Ratto is plaintiff. Looks like it is just for faculty. Defendants failed to pay faculty members for all hours under defendants control. Defendants object to disclosure of contact information to plaintiff. Poster 30751 says it exactly.

by | Post ID:

Yeah. I think the OP just googled corinthian lawsuit and posted the latest here to try and show proof that he/she got a letter. FAKE! What does the supposed letter you got say? Verbatim? Let's see what else you can google and paste on here

by | Post ID:

I got that letter on Friday

by | Post ID:

I got no letter. I got no action. Come to think of it, i got no class either. Go figure.

by | Post ID:

If you call this threads weak attempt at humor funny you really are a waste of oxygen. It may be old but that is the letter I received YESTERDAY.

If you are going to comment at be as informed as you think you are. I am guessing you are in admissions or financial aid. Used to telling people complete lies and expect them to believe it just because you say so. This letter JUST CAME OUT. Go ahead and call the number..

by | Post ID:

That ones been going on for over a year now

by | Post ID:

That's an old class action lawsuit OP. Way to kill the funny thread with yet another fake post. Do you know how many class action lawsuits corinthian has???? At least provide a new one

by | Post ID:
