We are loosing some of the brightest people to other companies at a time when they are most needed. Seagate CEO needs to tell VP's to look more carefully at who gets RSU's in order to try to keep the brightest people. I think VP makes decision them self without consult with low level managers and directors.
Couldn't agree more with you, . You can't lay off people just based on their title and pay. You need to know their full contribution to the company. Two people with same pay and title can have drastically different work results. Keeping our best people has to become a priority.
