People say it’s happening, some others swear that it is, progress has been made but it doesn’t look quite right. Can someone confirm that FTTH is coming to the whole footprint and which areas are to be upgraded first? That will convince me

What I don’t understand is the fact that no one can give a timeline of which places are to be upgraded in order, as long as no one can tell me that I can’t believe it.
I never said this company is stealing billions I said these companies steal billions by lying and false promises to their investors stay tuned, we will see time will tell look, back on all previous post and figure out who’s being really transparent and who’s not.
The fiber is a Sham !!! Even if they have all the intentions of firing it up by that time most of the customers would have already left due to lack of service now !!Does anyone think Customers will habe faith in a new product ???? Altice 1 is a joke !! Can’t wait for all the Red Lights in the Headends !!!
Since you seem so smart using all that brain and only being a tech explain to everyone how they're stealing billions because you seem to have it all figured out
jabba you wouldn't have to ask any of those questions if you worked in the department. So please do us all a favor and stop with the fear mongering posts with bullet point of what everyone should ask
Bethpage and central islip ny are in employee beta testing. Other then that not one other area
Simple answer to your question is no. Only the top brass can truly confirm the extent of this FTTH project.
Think of it like this.... Dexter, Drahi, Hakim, and Yohann have a a gigantic puzzle called Altice. Every so often, they give us employees a few small pieces of that puzzle. Just enough to keep us content. They will never give us enough pieces to solve the puzzle because they cannot risk exposing the true nature of what they're really up to. So what we're left with is trying to solve this puzzle on our own with the pieces we have.
Management always claim that they're being transparent but have they really??
Is everyone aware that they stopped running fiber in France??
see here for proof-->
here are some questions you might wanna ask in your next toolbox meeting:
how many homes are passed with fiber as of Jan 2018?
how many miles of the fiber has actually been tested with OTDR?
how many OLTs have been installed? and where?
what is the progress of the necessary upgrades needed for all the headends?
will we ever actually lash up the fiber as opposed to taping/tie wrapping?
will there be an added cost for customers to upgrade?
when we signed up for ATS, we were promised specialized fiber training. where is it?
how long before Altice sees a substantial return on this ginormous investment?
I have to see it to believe it not one area has been lit up, is headend work being done I doubt it, I’m guessing that aggressive 5 year plan is imploding just like their stock the jig is up. POnzi anyone.
